Our mission is to improve lives and build stronger communities through better health. Decatur Memorial Hospital, located in Decatur, Illinois, is a 300-bed, not-for-profit, community hospital that has provided medical care since 1916 for residents of central Illinois. Today, DMH has 2,000 dedicated colleagues, 300 physicians, is a designated Level II Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center. Inpatient services include orthopedics, cardiopulmonary, vascular medicine, gastroenterology, oncology and neurosciences, emergency medicine and laboratory and radiology services. Outpatient services include infusion, physical therapy, cancer care and more. Emergency services are available 24 hours daily. Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily.

Decatur Memorial Foundation board members recently toured Albert Farm, north of Forsyth, and one of nine farms owned by the Decatur Memorial Foundation. This firsthand look at farming operations included a ride in a combine during harvest plus learning more about the agricultural management of the property.
Thanks to farm operator Chris Schick and the Busey Bank farm management team for coordinating the visit. Income generated from the foundation’s farmland provides ongoing resources to support DMH, healthcare initiatives & community programs.
