I never really knew what my body would look like when I became pregnant. 🤍

Years ago, I probably would’ve approached pregnancy the same way I approached a bodybuilding prep. A structured routine, a plan for everything, and the mindset of staying on track.

But somewhere along the way, after years of discipline, consistency, and building healthy habits, I realized I didn’t need to treat pregnancy like a prep.

I already had the foundation.

I continued eating mostly the same foods I’ve always enjoyed, just a little more of them. Finding a balance between whole foods, bagels, and ice cream. 🍦

I didn’t force myself to hit every workout. I was grateful for the days I made it to the gym, even if half my time was spent stretching or rolling around on the floor. Some days it was just a walk, and that was enough.

And while I love seeing women stay active during pregnancy, I didn’t always resonate with the perfectly curated pregnancy routines online. The flawless meals, daily workouts, and seemingly endless time to prioritize every little thing.

Because real life is still happening. We’re running a business, managing responsibilities, preparing for a baby, and navigating everything else life throws our way.

I think pregnancy has reminded me that discipline isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s knowing when to do less.

We can’t control every change our bodies go through during pregnancy, but we can choose how we care for ourselves through it.

For me, that meant keeping the habits that served me, letting go of the pressure to be perfect, and finding balance in a season that deserves to be experienced, not managed.

And honestly, I’ve never appreciated my body more. ✨

Soaking up these last few days of pregnancy. 🤍

I truly feel blessed to have had such a wonderful pregnancy. Of course, there have been headaches, backaches, sleepless nights, and those random 4 a.m. snacks, but overall, this experience has been more beautiful than I could have imagined.

I genuinely believe the healthy habits I’ve spent years building have supported me in more ways than just staying active. Taking care of my body has always been important to me, but this chapter has given it an entirely new meaning.

It’s bittersweet knowing my first pregnancy is coming to an end. I’ve loved carrying her, watching my body change, and experiencing everything that comes with growing a little life.

As much as I’ll miss this chapter, I couldn’t be more excited for the next one.

A few more days of being one before we finally get to meet our baby girl. 🥹🤍

One of the things I appreciate more with age is having friends I can talk to about how lucky we are to have good men beside us—not just as partners, but as the kind of men we know will show up for our children too.

I don’t know if that comes with maturity, finding the right person, or a little bit of both.

A strong relationship isn’t something you arrive at and then stop working on. It’s constant growth, sacrifice, communication, honesty, and choosing to keep evolving together.

As much as I genuinely love the life we’ve built, I know it still takes work—work on myself, work on us, and being willing to have the conversations that keep us moving forward instead of growing apart.

And now, getting ready to become parents together, I think I appreciate that partnership more than ever. 🤍

Pregnancy has taught me a different kind of confidence.

I’ve spent so much of my life learning my body—training it, fueling it, pushing it, and knowing what it’s capable of.

Pregnancy has been the opposite lesson.

You can prepare. You can take care of yourself. You can make all the “right” choices. And still, so much of this experience is completely outside of your control.

Your body changes on its own timeline. Your energy changes. Your strength changes. Your plans change.

And somewhere along the way, I stopped trying to control every part of it and started listening instead.

There’s something incredibly humbling about trusting your body to do something you’ve never asked of it before.

Growing her has made me appreciate this body in an entirely different way. 🤍

Strange that it’s October again. 🤍

Last October, we were getting engaged. This October, we’re falling more in love together, waiting to meet our baby girl.

Somewhere in between came an engagement, an elopement, a pregnancy, and one of the biggest years of our lives.

It’s been a whirlwind, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

A year ago, some of this still felt intangible. Now it’s our life.

Sometimes life happens to you. And sometimes, little by little, you get brave enough to create the life you’ve been dreaming about.

One October can change everything. 🤍

34 weeks & counting 🤍🎀 November Mamas how are we feeling?!

Getting closer and closer to meeting you, and somehow feeling two completely opposite things at once — so ready for life with you to begin, but wanting to keep you safe inside me just a little longer. 🥹

The final stretch with our baby girl. We can’t wait to meet you!🤍

Mentally, I’m here.

Chasing hidden waterfalls, exploring caves, hiking to secluded beaches and finding some of Puerto Rico’s best hidden gems.

This was hands down one of our favorite days of the entire trip and the perfect way to end it. Puerto Rico is BEAUTIFUL—but do yourself a favor and don’t just stay in Old San Juan. Rent a car, take the scenic roads, get a little off the beaten path and explore everything this island has to offer.

Another baby item that just made sense for us 🤍 CODE : NEWTON940

We wanted a play yard that we could use at home AND easily bring with us when we travel. The Newton Travel Crib & Play Yard gives baby girl a huge space to play, but also doubles as a sleep space when we’re away from home.

I love anything that can grow with her and serve more than one purpose because baby gear adds up QUICK 😂

One more thing ready for Baby 🎀
