Talisman Hire Strand

What an incredible day at our DIY Basics Workshop! A massive thank you to everyone who attended, and a special shout-out to the generous sponsors who donated so that children in our community could join in on the fun and learn valuable skills.

During the session, our attendees got hands-on experience and learned how to safely work with a variety of essential equipment, including a drill, orbital sander, carpet washer, floor polisher, dehumidifier, and space heater. We loved seeing everyone building their confidence and getting stuck into the projects.

We hope you’ll join us next time.

As part of our DIY with a Purpose initiative, this weekend's workshop also aimed to raise funds for a specialised stroller to improve the mobility and daily life of a young girl with autism.

Thanks to your support and attendance, we’ve raised a portion of the funds needed, but we still have a way to go to reach our goal. If you would like to donate additional funds towards this much-needed specialised stroller, please contact us directly. Every contribution helps us make a real difference in her life!
