SMETI SA

October Awareness Month 💙💚

October highlights the importance of breast cancer awareness and early detection, understanding ADHD, and the value of reading and lifelong learning. Let’s use this month to educate ourselves, challenge misconceptions and promote a culture of awareness, inclusion and support.

One job. Multiple capabilities. One dependable team.

From lifting and rigging to material handling and transport, SMETI brings the capabilities and operational support needed to keep demanding work moving.

Built around reliability, safety and service, we’re ready to support the job from more than one angle.

SMETI | From Hard Work to Celebration ⚽💙💚

After the dedication, teamwork and long hours of the shutdown, we came together to celebrate a successful Zero Harm achievement — and what better way than with some football! ⚽

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly throughout the shutdown, everyone who took part in the match, and everyone who came out to support and cheer from the sidelines. Your commitment and energy made the celebration truly special.

We worked together. We achieved together. We celebrated together. 🙌

This Heritage Day, we celebrate the cultures, traditions and stories that make us unique, while embracing what brings us together.

Happy Heritage Day from all of us at SMETI! 💙💚

What if it was someone you loved?

GBV and femicide are not just statistics. They are mothers, daughters, sisters, friends and colleagues whose lives have been taken.

At SMETI, we stand for respect, dignity, safety and Zero Harm - everywhere.

Enough is enough.

There’s something satisfying about seeing a job come together - the right load, the right planning, the right people, and a road ahead.

Whether it’s a busy shutdown or another day on site, SMETI keeps the focus where it belongs: getting the job done safely and moving forward.

Since 2016, the journey has been about more than moving from one job to the next.

It has been about building something that people can rely on.

From lifting and rigging to material handling, cranes, forklifts and transport, SMETI has grown through the challenges, the long hours, the demanding sites and the moments that have tested us.

Behind every load moved is a team.
Behind every successful lift is preparation.
Behind every project is a responsibility to do the job safely, efficiently and with purpose.

Over the years, we’ve travelled further, taken on greater challenges and continued to build our place in South Africa’s industrial landscape.

But one thing has remained constant: our commitment to the people we work with, the work we deliver and the standard we set for ourselves.

From where we started in 2016 to where we are today, the journey continues.

And there is still a long road ahead.

SMETI. Moving with purpose. Growing with every journey.

Where excellent service is aligned with exceptional operational safety practices.

We are proud of our SMETI employees who continue to invest in their skills, knowledge and professional development.

Better skills. Stronger teams. Safer operations. 💙💚
