Choronga Safaris is a hunting company based in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. We have been operating HUNTS throughout Southern Africa for 18 years. We have our own areas in Botswana and work with concession holders for exclusive access in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, and Mozambique. This includes plains game on our private areas, dangerous game throughout the region as well as any other specie you want to hunt with a bow or rifle anywhere in Africa. Our hunters have averaged 66% Gold Medal trophies throughout the years and have we are fortunate to boast a 85% return hunter rate up to date. With the vast hunting opportunities at our disposal we can offer you the most diverse set of species in all of africa. At the end of the day no matter where you hunt you can be assured of leaving camp as a lifelong friend and full of memories that will last a lifetime! Life out here isn’t always easy.
Today we lost 3/4 of our dogs after they came across a Black Mamba around the house.
The kids have grown up with these dogs and they were a huge part of our everyday life, so today has been a very tough one for the whole family.
Living in the African bush gives us some incredible moments, but every now and then it reminds you just how wild this place really is.
Going to miss these guys terribly.

Aunt Lynn with a great Nyala bull taken on foot with her bow. 🏹💪🏻
The thick riverine bush that Nyala like to call home makes walk-and-stalk one of the most exciting ways to hunt these elusive animals.
Moving quietly through that heavy cover, reading the wind, and trying to close the distance on a mature bull with a bow is never easy—but Aunt Lynn got it done.
A beautiful bull and a very well-earned trophy.

Jackal can be very hard on some of our smaller species, and as a trophy they also make a beautiful rug.
