Breeders of Gr1 winner Missisippi Burning, Gr2 winner Nexus. We have increased and upgraded our broodmare band through the years.
During this period, Rathmor has produced the winner of the 2020 Gr1 Fillies Guineas in Cape Town, named Missippi Burning who was sold to Australia and has since produced a Kingman and Frankel foal. Rathmor also produced the winner of the 2020 Gr3 – Gold Cup at Greyville, named Paths of Victory. The vision going forward is to become one of the leading Stud Farms in KZN and South Africa and to continue breeding quality Racehorses, who hopefully can become some of the elite Group winners in SA and hopefully on the international stage as well. Our farms, namely Wetlands Game Lodge/Rathmor Stud and Summerveld will all play a major role in Rathmor Stud’s vision to achieve the goal.
