WE’RE HIRING: FITTER / SHIFT SUPERVISOR
We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter who can also take responsibility for shift supervision on a mineral processing / DMS plant.
Position in Vryheid area, must be willing to relocate.
Key responsibilities:
Supervise plant operations during shift
Mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs
Maintain conveyors, screens, pumps, crushers and rotating equipment
Coordinate plant start-ups, shutdowns and breakdown response
Manage shift personnel and production activities
Ensure safe isolations and maintenance practices
Complete shift, production and maintenance reports
Minimum requirements:
Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Trade Tested
5+ years relevant industrial or mining experience
Supervisory / team leader experience
Strong fault-finding ability
DMS or coal processing experience will be advantageous
Willing and able to work shifts
We are looking for a hands-on leader who can supervise the plant, diagnose problems and get involved in the repair when required.
