After yet another wonderful evening power outage (reliable power in 2026 is apparently still considered a luxury, and these outages were definitely not “prolonged”), we’re back open and caffeinated.

Yesterday’s island-wide outage, followed by our generator deciding it deserved a day off too, left us needing a little extra time to get everything cleaned, reset, and ready for service.

Truth be told, we’ve been pretty lucky in the past. This time, the stars just didn’t align in our favor.

We’ll be closed today and back tomorrow with hot coffee, fresh food, and hopefully fewer surprises.

In the meantime, if any of our deli brethren are open today, show them some love and support local. We’re all in this together.

The generator at The Marketplace has officially chosen violence this morning, and with no power, we can’t open yet.

We’re working to get things up and running and will open as soon as the generator is fixed or power comes back. We’ll post an update the minute we know more.
