📚🐾 READING IS FUN WEEK WAS A WHOLE VIBE AT THE DEN! 🐾📚

What a busy and exciting week it has been at the Den! From welcoming special visitors who took the time to read to our curious Wildcats to sending our very own Wildcats out into the community to share the joy of reading, we have truly been living our love for books! 🧡📖

Our amazing Wildcat teachers ventured into the community, visiting Willard Wheatley Primary School and Lord’s Lambs Bethany Baptist Preschool and Daycare, where they shared stories, spread smiles, and left their paws wherever they went! 🐾💛 Because the love of reading is even more special when it is shared!

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Harneys for their continued support and for always showing up for the Den when we need them. Your commitment to our Wildcats and their love of learning does not go unnoticed! 👏🏽❤️

A special thank-you goes to Mrs. Scatliffe-Leonard for joining us and reading to our entire school during a special assembly. Thank you for taking the time to inspire our Wildcats and remind them of the magic that lives within the pages of a book! 🌟📚

At the Den, we believe that THE CHILD WHO READS, LEADS!

Our incredible Grade 1 SL Wildcats took their storybook, Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss, straight into the kitchen! 📚👩🏽‍🍳

Not only did they dress the part, but they brought the story to LIFE by actually making their very own GREEN EGGS AND HAM! 💚🍳🥓 Talk about taking reading beyond the pages!

Our little Wildcats are proving that learning can be fun, creative, hands-on, and absolutely DELICIOUS! 👏🏽 From reading the story to recreating it in the kitchen, this is what making meaningful learning experiences looks like!

Yesterday, our amazing staff brought the vibes, the style, and the teamwork for Twin/Triplet Thursday as part of our Teachers Week celebrations!

From matching outfits to coordinated looks, our Difference Makers showed that great minds really do think alike!

📚🧸PAJAMAS, BOOKS & COZY VIBES AT THE DEN! 🧸📚

Today at the Den, our Wildcats enjoyed a Pajama Cozy Up with a Good Book Day, and YESSS! It was an absolute SUCCESS! 💯📖

From sipping on their favorite drinks while getting lost in a good book 🥤📚, to taking their reading adventures outdoors 🌳☀️, and even cozying up with flashlights for some magical reading moments 🔦🌙, our Wildcats showed that reading can be FUN in so many different ways!

Who said reading had to be boring? NOT AT THE DEN! We’re making memories, sparking imaginations, and building a love for reading one page at a time!

And guess what? READING IS FUN WEEK CONTINUES! 📚 The excitement is far from over, so stay tuned for more fun, more adventures, and more reasons to LOVE READING!

The Den has been roaring with excitement as we celebrate Reading Is Fun Week! Our Wildcats have been enjoying visits from special guests brought to us through HLSCC and the Big Read Roadshow, as well as our very own internal staff, including our Assistant Principal and Mrs. Johnson, who took the time to read to our curious Wildcats. 🐾📖

A heartfelt thank you to HLSCC for this wonderful literacy initiative and to everyone who has taken time out of their busy schedules to share the joy of reading with our students. Your support helps inspire a love for books, stories, and learning in the next generation of readers. 💛🧡📚

We encourage all parents, guardians, and students to do their part in keeping our community clean, healthy, and environmentally friendly. Something as simple as choosing a refillable water bottle instead of a single-use plastic bottle can make a meaningful difference. 💧🌎

Remember, even a small piece of plastic can collect water and become a mosquito breeding site. Let’s be mindful of our surroundings and make choices that protect our environment and our community.
