We had a great time this week celebrating Halloween! From the office to the Ave, Link employees were in the Trick or Treating spirit!

Special thanks to Wenatchee Downtown Association for coordinating the annual Trick or Treat event on Wenatchee Avenue and inviting Link to showcase our Haunted Quakula Bus this year! What a great, safe, and fun community event!

Helping visitors explore Wenatchee, one bus ride at a time!

Recently, our Travel Trainer had the opportunity to take the Visit Wenatchee team on a travel training trip aboard Route 2! During the ride, staff learned more about navigating our bus system, planning trips, and using public transportation to explore the Wenatchee Valley.

A big thank you to Visit Wenatchee for joining us and helping make our valley more accessible and welcoming to everyone!

📣Join us in congratulating Coach Operator Carlos Gutierrez for receiving a High Five Award at our last board meeting! This award recognizes an employee (or team) who has gone above and beyond in leadership, safety, customer service, innovation, teamwork, or efficiency. Carlos alerted our planning team of an oversight in Bay designation at Columbia Station and suggested a solution to alleviate "bus bunching" and improve operational efficiency. Thank you Carlos for recognizing the issue and problem solving with the team - we appreciate all the eyes and ears on the road to make our public transit safe and reliable for all! 👏👏👏

High Five, Carlos!🖐

Tricks, treats, and community connections!

Link Transit had a spooktacular time at CAFÉ’s Panchanga and Mercadito Trunk or Treat event! We had so much fun handing out candy, sharing helpful transit resources, and connecting with families throughout our community.

Thank you to CAFÉ for hosting such a fun event and bringing everyone together! We loved being part of the festivities and seeing all the amazing costumes!

Are you ready for the time change? You may have noticed that on some buses we’ve replaced the three-bike rack with a two-bike rack. This change helps keep the headlights’ beam clear to improve visibility during these darker days.

Don’t forget to ask your bus driver or Guest Services at Columbia Station for a reflector to make sure you’re visible at the bus stop after dark!

---
