Layers of organic and luxurious custom details create a uniquely rich, warm environment. Light, texture, artistic craftsmanship invoke emotion and a sense of sophistication. Your home is designed by thoughtful and seasoned artists with an eye on trends and constant international sourcing. NEW URBAN LIVING
We see homes as the new Pop Up Shop for our lives. Floor plans that allow for intimate or intense dinner parties, meetings, book signings, art shows, visiting guests. Harmonizing elements cause you to linger a little longer. Comfortable and sexy. Spaces that are unique and loved because they are crafted that way. Homes where Lovers Make Families. DESIGNING INSIDE OUT:
The interior perspective is our start. Light and landscape dictate the floor plan with an emphasis on flexibility and practicality for modern living. How a space feels and flows both inside and out with a place for everything. How light rolls across our plaster walls. Your furnishings and artwork personalize the timeless framework we provide.

A primary bathroom that lets the outside in.
Wrapped in windows and washed in natural light, this space feels less like a room and more like an extension of the sky outside. Simple, bright, and endlessly calming.
Some of the best design decisions are just about getting out of the way and letting the light do the work.

Most design happens in one direction, either chasing curb appeal or chasing a beautiful interior. Rarely both, at the same time, from day one.
The homes that actually feel right when you live in them? Someone designed the outside and the inside as one decision, not two.
If you're not sure which one your home is missing — that's exactly what a consult is for. Link in bio to book.

Take you on a tour of Milwood I? Don't mind if we do.
When we designed this home, almost every choice felt like a risk. Stone floors in a Versailles pattern, when everyone else in Venice was using oak. Boulder stone from Ireland on the feature walls. Black steel windows nobody was putting on residential homes at the time. It would've been easier to build another all-white box. We didn't.
Years later, those choices are exactly why this house still feels timeless instead of dated.
Good design should still feel right in ten years, not just on the day it's photographed. If that's the kind of home you're after, let's talk.
Consider this your personal tour of Nowita.

We design for feeling as much as function — what a space should feel like at 7am versus 9pm, where people will actually gather, what rest looks like once the photoshoot's over and real life moves in.
A house runs on function. A home runs on feeling.

Some homes stay with you long after the project ends. Nowita is one of them.
15 years after our first project here, we returned to renovate the primary bedroom, refresh the furnishings, and layer in new art and tchotchkes throughout.
Coming back to a home you helped shape and finding it's still asking for more — that's a rare kind of full circle.

The room was always waiting on this. Trust us. We're experts.
Take a look inside the primary bath at Nowita.
The higher shower walls aren't just a design choice — they're doing real work, hiding the everyday mess into thoughtful little pockets throughout. Integrated stone sinks, hidden cords, nothing left out of place.
Beautiful and functional were never separate goals for us.

Before we ever touch a floor plan, we study the land — where the sun moves, which views are worth framing, how the site wants to be walked through. Architecture that responds to its surroundings feels inevitable. Architecture that doesn't feels imposed.
Start with the land. Everything else follows.
