HOPE Rising Rocketeers

Joshua Driskill, Senior at HOPE Christian Academy

Today we remember Martin Luther King Junior best by serving our fellow man, woman, and child. The Lord started a great work with Doctor King, but that work is still unfinished. It is up to each of us to continue the task the Lord gave Dr. King to completion.

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others ?” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character- That is the goal of true education.” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The 2019-20 Team Captain of the HOPE Rising Rocketeers is highlighted in this blog. He is the designer known as Legorockets, and is known to his teammates as Lego. He was recently highlighted in a Drake State Community College ad. He was, of course, 3D printing rockets. We are very proud of Captain Lego!

The HOPE Rising Rocketeers had a VERY busy weekend! It was such a blessing to FINALLY have a break in the rain....after nearly five weeks or torrential rain, high winds, or flooded fields. Thank you Lord for the sunshine.
