Family, how often do we wait until life gets overwhelming before we turn to God in prayer? We pray when the bills are piling up, when our relationships are struggling, when the doctor's report isn't what we hoped for, or when we feel like we've run out of options.
But here's something we all need to remember: God doesn't want to hear from us only when something goes wrong. He wants a relationship with us every single day. ❤️
Prayer is more than asking God to fix our problems. It's how we grow closer to Him, learn to trust His heart, seek His wisdom, and find peace in His presence.
We can talk to Him when we're thankful, when we're confused, when we're celebrating, and even when we don't know what to say.
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
What if the weakness you've been trying to hide is the very place where God wants you to experience His strength? ❤️ We often associate strength with having everything under control. We convince ourselves that we need to be strong enough to handle the pressure, overcome the struggle, and carry the weight of whatever life brings our way. But the more we depend on ourselves, the easier it becomes to forget how much we need God.
In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul pleaded with God to remove the very thing that was troubling him. Yet God's response wasn't to remove it, but to remind Paul that His grace was sufficient.
Sometimes, the answer to our weakness isn't the removal of the struggle, but learning to depend on God's strength in the midst of it.
You don't have to hide what you're going through or pretend it doesn't hurt. Bring those burdens before God. He cares about what concerns you, and His grace is enough to sustain you through this season.
What are you still trying to carry in your own strength that you need to surrender to Him?

Sometimes the biggest battle isn't what's standing in front of us. It's what we've started believing about ourselves because of what's standing in front of us.
Fear has a way of making us question our strength, doubt our purpose, and forget the promises God has spoken over our lives.
Think about the Israelites. When they saw the giants in the Promised Land, they didn't just see a powerful enemy. They began to see themselves as grasshoppers.
"We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them." - Numbers 13:33

Sharing our faith doesn't always come easy, but here's the good news: You don't have to know everything to tell someone about Jesus. Sometimes it starts with a simple conversation, sharing your testimony, or just being willing to let God use you.

Sometimes, God allows the struggle to remain because there's something He wants to develop within us. ❤️ We often pray for God to remove the things causing us pain, but sometimes His purpose goes deeper than changing our circumstances. He uses difficult seasons to humble us, redirect our focus, and remind us that we cannot depend on our own strength.
Pain can reveal how easily we become consumed by our problems, our expectations, and how we think God should be working. But even when He doesn't remove the struggle, His grace is still sufficient to sustain us through it.
God's faithfulness isn't measured by how quickly our circumstances change, but by His ability to carry us through what hasn't changed.
Whatever you're facing, don't allow the weight of your circumstances to overshadow what God is developing within you. The pain may be temporary, but the humility, faith, and dependence on Him that grow through it can remain.

Sometimes we don't know what to say. Sometimes all we have are tears, a quiet whisper, or a simple, "Lord, I need You." And guess what? That's enough. ❤️
God isn't looking for fancy prayers or the perfect words. He wants an honest heart that is willing to come before Him.
You don't have to hide your struggles, pretend everything is okay, or have all the answers. Bring Him your worries, your questions, your gratitude, and even your silence. He already knows what you're carrying, and He cares about every part of your life.
"Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge." - Psalm 62:8
Sunday is a chance to worship, reset, hear God’s Word, and spend time with people who are walking the same faith journey. Whether your week has been peaceful, busy, heavy, or somewhere in between, you do not have to carry it alone.
Come expecting God to meet you right where you are. Come ready to grow, connect, and be encouraged. There is room for you here, and you are family here. 🙏

Have you ever stopped to think that God's blessings are about more than what He does for you? In Luke 5, Peter experienced a miraculous catch of fish, so many that his nets began to break! But Jesus wasn't simply showing Peter how much He could provide. He was revealing a greater purpose for his life.
The miracle was about more than the fish. It was about the people Peter would one day reach for Christ.
And the same lesson challenges us today. We can become so focused on what we're asking God for that we forget to ask how He wants to use what He's already given us.
Whether it's our time, resources, experiences, or opportunities, God can use what He's placed in our hands to encourage others, show His love, and help people come to know Jesus.
