New Zealand fire fighters honoring those who sacrificed on 911...

Twenty-five years after the September 11 terrorist attacks, the memories of that day remain with us. Today at Auckland’s Sky Tower, Consul General Melissa Sweeney joined New Zealand firefighters and members of the public to remember the lives lost, and to honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who ran toward danger to help others. It was especially meaningful to mark this anniversary alongside Kiwi firefighters, united by the same spirit of service, courage, and sacrifice that we remember from September 11. We remember those we lost. We honor those who answered the call. We will never forget. 🇺🇸🇳🇿

A great sadness losing such a big hearted man such as Keith.
His love and caring for the stingrays and Bahamian ecosystem was unmatched.
We spent many hours under a thatched roof on the beach in West End, Grand Bahama, his favorite place. Sharing stories, experiences and dreaming, planning what the future of West End and the whole of the Bahamas ecosystem and the possibilities that could and should remain and improve with education, understanding, care and love.
The stingrays, myself and the Island do and will miss you greatly.
