Come Trick-or-Treating at the library! We will be in our costumes, handing out candy and non-candy treats at both the town Trick-or-Treat event Thursday October 29 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm and for regular Halloween Trick-or-Treating on Saturday October 31 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Come by!

One of my favorite programs of the year is back! Stop by the library to pick up your dinosaurs and get creative!

To celebrate Dino-vember, we invite you to participate in our Dino-rama competition. We’ll provide entrants with a selection of random dinosaur figures for the creation of a diorama; no other materials will be provided. See our website and socials for further details. This is an all ages competition and submissions will be judged and winners by their category, kids, family groups or adults.

It's National Friends of the Library Week so we are taking a moment to honor our awesome Friends group. They are our greatest support and we hope they know how much we appreciate them. This place wouldn't have half so much magic without their efforts. Our Friends are looking for help moving and sorting books at the monthly collection, which takes place on the first Saturday of each month. This can be a great opportunity for our young people to get in some community service hours! Let us know if you're interested.

October 18th is National Work Bestie Day! So here's my homage to my work bestie, with a little Miss Wendy thrown in, who is a part of this group, but I can hardly ever get her in front of my camera!

Happy National Work Bestie Day to my work bestie Anna! I knew right away you were super smart and funny, but when you gave me your order of Jane Austen books, I knew I understood you and we were friends. I hope we always work together. Thank you for joining in my shenanigans, being the pink shark to my blue shark, proof reading all my stuff, being my personal reference librarian, reveling in library joy with me, and making me laugh every day!
