Sarpy County Fair & Rodeo

🎃 Happy Halloween from the Sarpy County Fair & Rodeo! We hope your Halloween is full of good treats, great costumes and just the right amount of spooky. Have a safe and fun Halloween!

Congratulations to Brett on this award and THANK YOU for being a key partner for the Sarpy County Fair!!

During this year's Sarpy County Fair, we were proud to honor the Harder Family as the Fair People of the Year.

For many years, Dale and Marion Harder and their children, David, Jim, Nancy and Diana, have played an important role in the Sarpy County Fair. From Dale's 20 years as Fair Board President and Marion's dedication as a 4-H leader to the family's continued support of the fairgrounds, their service and commitment have helped shape the fair into what it is today. Thank you, Harder Family, for your lasting impact on the Sarpy County Fair and our community.

Thank you to the family of former board member Paul Smith and Mary-Ann Smith for their memorial gift to the fair, used to purchase a bench located near the livestock pavilion. Paul served on the Sarpy County Fair Board for 30 years and was a valued and cherished member of the Springfield community.

🗓️ Mark your calendars! We're already counting down the days until August 4 through August 8 for next year's Sarpy County Fair and Rodeo!

What event did you attend this year that you just have to see again next year?

Congrats to our hometown puller Brian AndJen Purchase!

Your 2026 Nebraska Bush Pro Stock 4x4 Pickup champion!🏆

This class had quite the back-and-forth between 1st and 2nd place in points almost all season long!

The points battle was between the orange Chevy, “Mean Machine 2.0”, driven by Brian Purchase, and the red Chevy, “The Mistress”, driven by Chris Slaughter; swapping spots in the top 2 points positions several times over the summer!

In the end, Brian managed to take the “Mean Machine 2.0” to the top spot, finishing off the season with 4 wins out of 6 total hooks!

Congratulations to Brian Purchase & team!👏

2nd: The Mistress - Chris Slaughter
3rd: Mid-Life Crisis - Dalton Kramer
