Each month, students at SLS learn a "Hymn of the Month" as a way to help them hide God's Word in their hearts, as well as learn treasured classics. This month's hymn is "Oh, for a Thousand Tongues to Sing."

Feeling tired and unmotivated to cook after a long weekend of activities? Wishing for one more night off from "real life?" Join SLS at Freddy's on El Camino Alto (near Sam's off of Campbell) for a fun evening of fellowship and support for the school! SLS will get a portion of the proceeds from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and you don't have to do any dishes! Win, win!

The SLS staff received a special treat this week. Students in Mrs. Carroll's Food and Textiles class prepared dinner for the SLS staff. Not only did they prepare dinner, but they also decorated and stayed after school to serve us. It was such a delicious dinner and we loved their kindness!

A very sweet student took part in the "Crucial Catch Intercept Cancer," sponsored by the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs, on behalf of our amazing Mrs. Tessaro. Our hearts are so touched when we see our students encouraging and supporting others.

We are also tremendously proud of Mrs. Tessaro. She faces her cancer journey daily with deep faith, strength and courage. We love you, Mrs. Tessaro! 💙

Get your school parents and friends together for a great night out while supporting Springfield Lutheran School at Saturday Night for the Saints!

What better way to make a difference than by gathering together with friends, purchasing a table at the fundraiser, and enjoying a fun evening together? Tables include Bambino's dinner, and a sponsored bar, so it's a win-win: a chance to socialize, enjoy a kid-free night out, and support the school we love!

Buying tickets together makes the evening affordable. Let's come together as a school community, make some memories, and help make this fundraiser a success!

The SLS Saints Cross Country team did well in Joplin! We saw strong runners that showed maturity and growth. Everyone showed that they know how to race and finish strong.

We're proud of our talented, Christ-centered athletes!

Let's go SAINTS!!!
