Co-owners Matthew Milkint and Tressa Hartman founded Phoenix Collision in March of 2006 following the devastating tornadoes that ripped through Springfield, IL. Matthew had over 13 years of experience in the industry when his place of employment was destroyed by the storms. After assisting with clean-up and realizing it would be a year before they could re-open, he decided to fulfill his dream of opening his own facility. Tressa joined him a month later, bringing with her over 11 years of experience in customer retention, product development, and marketing. They chose a location on Springfield's West side as this area had been home to them growing up. With the support of family, friends and the community they have built their business into one of the most trusted collision repair facilities in the area.
“We are committed to making sure each customer leaves here completely satisfied. Referrals from happy customers are the best compliments we can receive, and that is important if you want to become a trusted part of the community.” - Matthew Milkint, August 2006

Spooky season is here, but sometimes the scariest surprises are waiting in the parking lot. 👻🛒
Tight spaces, runaway shopping carts, and mystery dents can leave your vehicle with damage you definitely didn’t put on the shopping list.
If you come back to an unexpected ding, dent, or scrape, Phoenix Collision can help get it looking right again.
🎃 Enjoy the spooky season. We’ll handle the scary damage. https://www.phoenixcollision.com/
What you can see is only part of the picture.
Things can be brushed off as a "minor impact" can sometimes hide damage underneath.
Brackets, sensors, suspension components, structural areas, and other parts can be affected even when the outside does not look that bad.
That is why a proper inspection matters after a collision. We here at Phoenix Collision can help assess the damage even if it can't be easily spotted

DEER SEASON!
September driving in Central Illinois comes with a few extra hazards.
Deer don’t check both ways, use a turn signal, or care that you were definitely going the speed limit.
Keep an eye on the road, especially around dawn and dusk. And if one decides to make an unexpected entrance, Phoenix Collision is here to help get you back on the road.
Drive safe out there, Central Illinois! https://www.phoenixcollision.com/

Honoring the hard work that keeps our communities moving.
This Labor Day, we celebrate the dedication, craftsmanship, and commitment of the hardworking men and women who make a difference every day.
From all of us at Phoenix Collision, thank you for everything you do. We hope you have a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Labor Day with family and friends.
After an accident, the damage you see is only part of the story. During an estimate, our team checks visible dents, paint damage, lights, sensors, panel alignment, and potential hidden structural concerns so the repair plan starts with clarity.
If you’ve been in an accident and want to know what comes next, Phoenix Collision is here to help.
