Springfield FC

Join us in welcoming our new intern in marketing and sponsorship, Elijah Reynolds!

Hi! My name is Elijah Reynolds, and I’ll be joining Springfield FC next summer with an internship position in marketing and sponsorship. I’m currently attending Moberly Area Community College working towards an Associates in business administration, with hopes of later attending Mizzou for my MBA. I have been very interested in business, even winning multiple state championships in the Future Business Leaders of America. I hope to gather a career as a sports and entertainment agent, and see this internship opportunity as an incredible advancement toward my goal. I’m excited to meet the players, coaches, and staff, and do whatever I can to improve this team. Up the Stags!

Join us in welcoming our new intern play-by-play announcer, Owen Buie!

Hi! My name is Owen Buie and I will be joining Springfield FC in the summer of 2027 as a football commentator. I am currently a freshman at Quincy University where I am the voice of QU Men’s and Women’s Soccer. I have always had a passion for sports, especially football. I am an avid fan of Liverpool FC, Sporting KC, and the USMNT. I joined Springfield FC because I see them as a club on the rise and I think this is an incredible opportunity for me early in my career. Being involved in football has always been a dream job of mine. I am excited to meet the players, coaches, staff, and of course commentate the football matches!

Starting 11 🦌

Ninety minutes. Eleven starters. One final chance to represent the badge this season. Let’s make it count. ❤️🦌

Last one at home. Let’s make it count.

Tonight we host Des Moines Menace at SHG for our final home match of the year. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM! Pack the stands and bring the energy one more time.

Let’s go Stags! 🦌🔴🔵

A special milestone for one of Central Illinois’ own.

Nate Mansfield became the youngest capped player in Springfield FC history this past week at 17 years old, earning minutes in our 5-4 win over SantaFe Wanderers.

An All-Midwest player from Glenwood High School and a Central Illinois United MLS NEXT standout, Nate continues to develop at a high level and represent the pathway.

Proud moment for Nate and we’re looking forward to many more years of him in a Stags jersey.
