The Metro Center Association is calling all creatives in collaboration with Make It Springfield!.. We are turning to the community for submissions of what your additional visions and ideas for downtown Springfield would include.
“What do you want to see different? How should vacant buildings
be used differently? What areas in the metro area need more attention? Why don’t we have more visitors or outdoor activities? How can we change the narrative of this place we love, live and believe in?
We want YOU to envision and share your authenticity & creativity. When you think about the metro center community…whatever comes to mind?
Dream it, draft it, draw it, illustrate it, write or sing about it & let’s put our heads together in order to advocate, build and Make - it!

Come early and utilize our open studio with FREE materials!
Food provided and prizes awarded to those who submit and attend during gathering! Youth encouraged!!

Congratulations! We appreciate ALL of the wonderful work done by our staff, our board, the many generous volunteers and community partners!

Mike visited us for the first time today. He says “This is my first day and being here makes me wanna be here more often!”He picked up a bike from RadSpringfield today, made a donation and helped out in the bike shop for a couple hours. Thanks Mike!

Their support helps us sustain free and low cost access to creative opportunities, resources, networks and community for people of all ages and abilities. We are so grateful for our community of makers - and equally grateful for the funders and supporters who help us make it happen!

Bike donations needed! Drop off Mon and Fri 2-6 when RadSpringfield is open, or Tues 2-6 or Sat 10-2 during our open studio hours.
