We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but trust me, things have been anything but quiet around here! 😂

Today is one of our favorite days of the month… Sewcial Happy Hour!

We’re looking forward to catching up with our sewing friends, sharing what’s new around the shop, chatting about upcoming classes, and enjoying some good company!

💕 Remembering Our Dear Friend Connie 💕

Today, we said goodbye to a very special lady and dear friend of Shawn’s Sewing Center.

Connie was more than a familiar face in our sewing community; she was a friend, and someone we will remember with so much love and affection.

Our hearts are with her family and her dear sister patti, and everyone who was fortunate enough to know and love her.

The friendships we make through our love of sewing are truly something special, and Connie will always hold a place in our hearts.

Rest peacefully, sweet Connie. You will be dearly missed. 💕🕊️

A Little Slow Stitching, A Lot of Fun! 🧵💕

Yesterday’s Slow Stitch class with Donna was an absolute delight!

Sometimes the best thing we can do is slow down, pick up a needle and thread, and simply enjoy the creative process. And that’s exactly what we did!

From sweet little wool coats to beautiful vintage lace, buttons, fabric scraps, and hand-stitched details, everyone added their own personality to their projects. So many creative ideas around one table!

A big thank you to Donna for another fabulous class and to all our lovely ladies who joined us!

Who knew slowing down could be so much fun? 🪡✨
