10 years of school, $210k in debt, and 60-hour weeks just to realize we were on the wrong path...

Me and Jules spent our entire 20s doing what everyone told us was the ā€œright thing.ā€

I became a PA-C. She went into dentistry.

We made $250k combined and still felt like we were drowning.

Not because we were bad with money. Because the system wasn’t built for the life we actually wanted.

We wanted time together. We wanted to be present for our future kids. We wanted to wake up excited, not exhausted.

So we opened an LLC, got a business credit card, and started renting houses to list on Airbnb.

1 out of 15 landlords said yes. Our first unit made $4,000 in month one.

6 months later we replaced our incomes. By December 2022 we hit $100k a month.

We retired at 31. Both of us.

Today we control a $30M portfolio, our Airbnbs bring in $2.5M a year, and we work less than 5 hours a week.

We retired our parents before we even bought our own place.

And now we just had our first daughter... and we’re actually here for her.

That’s the part no one talks about. It was never about the money. It was about building a life where we didn’t have to choose between our careers and our family.

If you’re stuck in a career that’s draining you and you want to learn how we built this, we made a free training that breaks the whole model down.

Comment ā€œTRAININGā€ and I’ll send it to you.

First Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz and the energy was unreal.

It is a true privilege to be capable, to try, and to reach for anything we want in this life.

70.3 miles, finishing time 6:23:29.

Can’t wait to chase a sub 6 & do it all again.

Thank you to all my friends and family who supported me and most importantly, to my wife, Jules, for holding it down for me through all the stress and mental breakdowns leading up to this race.

When me and Jules got married, literally everyone told us we needed to buy a house.

Our parents, our friends, our coworkers. ā€œYou’re married now, time to settle down and build equity.ā€

And honestly, it made sense on paper.

But we looked at our savings and realized something. If we put $20-$25k into a down payment, that money is gone. Locked up. We can’t touch it. We can’t use it to make more money.

So instead of buying, we kept renting and used that same $23k to launch our first Airbnb.

We rented a property 20 minutes from our apartment for $4,000/mo, furnished it, listed it on Airbnb, and it made us $4,000 in profit the first month after all expenses.

That was the moment it clicked.

We took those profits and reinvested into a second unit. Then a third. Then kept going until we had 9 units generating $125k/mo.

That’s when we finally bought our first property. And we didn’t just buy it to live in. We bought it because owning real estate with an average guest stay under 7 days lets you bonus depreciate the entire thing in year one through a cost segregation study.

So we put $100k down on a $500k property, wrote off $125k-$150k against our W-2 income, and legally paid $0 in taxes that year.

Everyone told us renting was throwing money away. But renting is what gave us the liquidity to build 28 Airbnbs that now generate enough cash flow to buy a new house every 6 months.

We just took a different path than most couples, and it got us there faster.

If you want to launch your first Airbnb in 2026, comment ā€œTRAININGā€ and I’ll send you a free training video breaking it all down.

The housing market is a mess right now. And when you see a couple scale up to multiple Airbnbs, it’s easy to assume they’re hoarding homes or just chasing profit.

But here’s the reality…

When my wife and I started this, we weren’t trying to get rich or ā€œretire early.ā€ We were two exhausted healthcare workers making decent money on paper…but we were completely burned out, stuck in a system that was draining the life out of us, and barely seeing each other.

We didn’t buy 10 properties overnight. We started by renting one unit with landlord permission. Added one property at a time. And then used our cash flow to buy properties for ourselves. It didn’t happen overnight, it took us 4 years of reinvesting every dollar into our business.

The word ā€œretiredā€ gets thrown around a lot, but for us, it doesn’t mean we sit around doing nothing. It means we finally work on things that energize us…not things that deplete us. But we aren’t actively involved in our business. We’ve built systems that allowed us to remove ourselves from the day to day, such as cleaning our properties, checking guests in, etc. We put tools and people in place so we can focus on just living and working ON our business, without asking for PTO or getting woken up by hospital shift alarms.

And we don’t take properties from families. We focus on areas where there’s already a high volume of rentals or vacancies. A lot of our students are regular people trying to offset rising costs, not giant investors trying to dominate the market.

This business changed our life and we’re committed to helping others do it the right way.
