🏠 5. Brand-new construction OR Older home with character ❤️

🌾 6. Country living OR Neighborhood convenience

✨ BONUS QUESTION: Would you rather have a beautiful home that needs a little updating OR a smaller home that’s completely move-in ready?

There are no wrong answers! Everyone’s dream home looks a little different, and that’s what makes house hunting so fun! 💜

🏡🍂 HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS STARTS NOW! 🎄✨

The holidays are right around the corner, and before the decorating, cooking, shopping, and family gatherings begin, now is the perfect time to give your home a little TLC! ❤️

Here are 15 things to tackle around the house BEFORE the holiday chaos begins! 👇

🍁 OUTSIDE YOUR HOME
✅ Clean out gutters and downspouts before winter weather arrives.

✅ Disconnect garden hoses and winterize outdoor faucets.

✅ Check weatherstripping around doors and windows to keep the cold air out.

✅ Rake leaves and tidy up your yard.

✅ Check outdoor lighting, especially around walkways and entrances.

🏡 INSIDE YOUR HOME
✅ Replace HVAC filters and schedule a furnace checkup.

✅ Test smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms.

✅ Declutter closets, cabinets, and storage spaces before holiday gifts arrive.

✅ Deep clean your kitchen, especially the oven and refrigerator, before all that holiday cooking!

✅ Check for drafts and seal any gaps around windows and doors.

🎄 GET HOLIDAY READY
✅ Go through holiday decorations and donate anything you no longer use.

✅ Organize your pantry and make room for holiday baking supplies.

✅ Freshen up guest bedrooms and bathrooms.

✅ Clean carpets, rugs, and upholstery before hosting guests.

✅ Make sure your fireplace and chimney are inspected and cleaned before use.

✨ BONUS TIP: You don’t have to do everything in one weekend! Pick a few tasks each week, and by Thanksgiving, you’ll be ahead of the game!

💜 A little home maintenance now can save you time, money, and stress later!

As your local Realtor®, I’m not just here to help you buy or sell a home. I’m here to help you love and care for the home you’re already in, too! 🏡🔑

💬 Let’s hear it! Are you the type to have your Christmas decorations up BEFORE Thanksgiving, or do you wait until after? 🎄🦃
