Sun Auto Tire & Service

Nobody wants to spend money on their car when it’s still driving fine. We get it.

But a lot of the big repairs we see started as something small that got pushed off for “one more month.” A check engine light, a slow leak, brakes that started squeaking back in the summer. Catching it early is almost always the cheaper route.

If something’s been bugging you, bring it in and let us take a look before it turns into a bigger bill 🛠️

We love cars, we love driving too. And we reward excellence!

A lot of people have never checked their own oil, and honestly, nobody ever showed them how. So here you go.

Park on level ground, let the engine sit for a few minutes, then pull the dipstick, wipe it clean, push it back in, and pull it out again. The oil should land between the two marks. If it’s low or looks dark and gritty, it’s time to come see us.

It’s one of the easiest ways to catch a problem early. Low oil can do serious damage to an engine, and most of the time you’d never know until it’s too late.

Send this to someone who’s never popped their hood 🛢️

We see it all the time. Someone comes in for an oil change, we take a look at the tires, and there’s almost nothing left. They had no idea.

That’s why we love the penny test. Put a penny in your tread upside down. If Lincoln’s whole head is showing, you’re below 2/32” and your tires can’t clear water the way they should. That’s when hydroplaning happens and stopping takes way longer than you’d expect.

Check yours this weekend. And if it doesn’t pass, you know where to find us.

No One Fights Alone. Sun Auto’s Women’s Employee Resource Group came together in Nashville to support those impacted by breast cancer at the Susan G Komen MORE THAN PINK walk. We’re carrying that support across our network.
Every Tuesday in October, we’re donating $5 from every oil change performed at participating locations to Susan G Komen, turning everyday vehicle care into an opportunity to make a difference.

October is a month of action across the Sun Auto Network in support of Susan G Komen. Every Tuesday in October, Sun Auto is donating $5 from every oil change performed at participating locations to Susan G Komen, turning everyday vehicle care into an opportunity to make a difference. 🩷
