Our Spring Fling is an annual, carnival-themed fundraiser that lets Primrose students experience the joy of giving back to families in their community and beyond. This year, through fun auctions, games, food and more, children helped raise more than $560,000 for local charities and the Primrose Schools Partnership for Children℠. ​

It was an underwater adventure today in the Toddler room! 🌊🐟

We talked about who lives in the water and then practiced our drawing skills with some ocean-themed art.

We have some very talented little illustrators in the making! 🐳

Our Kindergarten classroom is stating the new year off with a bang!!! Today in Kindergarten the children practiced math concepts by counting to answer the “how many?” questions about items arranged in various ways. They printed upper and lowercase letters legibly and composed and decomposed numbers from 11 to 19 into tens and ones by using objects and drawings. They also connected number words and numerals to the quantities they represent, using various physical models and representations set out throughout the room.

The children spent time exploring the concept of weight. They took turns using comparative vocabulary, such as "heavy" and "light," as they predicted the weight of various materials found inside the classroom.

It was wonderful to see them engaging with these concepts and practicing their observation skills.

Holiday cheer overload at Primrose School of Smyrna West! Our Pre-K rockstars wowed us all with an AMAZING holiday performance full of sweet songs, big energy, and even bigger smiles. Safe to say—parents left with full hearts and big smiles!

Our private kindergarten students and teachers did an amazing job with their Thanksgiving play. The students worked really hard to perfect their lines, and the costumes and set design were pure perfection. We are so proud of our Kindergarteners for their dedication and outstanding performance.

Native American Heritage Month, observed every November, is a time to recognize, honor, and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, histories, and important contributions of Native peoples. This month provides an opportunity to educate ourselves about the enduring legacy, diversity, and resilience of Native American communities across the United States.
