Sequim Riding Academy

Sequim Riding Academy has a new phone number and website!!! However, im realizing today that only 2 of my 60 contacts received any of my messages from my new work number over the last 3 weeks. I thought you all had abandoned me 😆 🤦🏼‍♀️
So now im confused as to how to get you all the info that you need. I think the best way would be, if you are a student of SRA or have a child riding with us, can you please friend me Sara Richerts Anderson and send me a message. I will send you a link to our private Facebook group and send you screen shots of the messages that were never delivered. In the mean time check out our website and feel free to start scheduling lessons!

Sequim Riding Academy Schedule a Lesson Scheduling a lesson at Sequim Riding Academy marks the beginning of an exhilarating journey into the world of horses! SRA Level-Up Program Our new level-based program is a multi faceted, immersive, educational experience broken down into four major curriculums, each having several....

Im so proud of our kids! Last weekend our Showstoppers and Rascals 4-hers showed at our Clallam County Pre Fair. These kids are also Sequim Riding Academy students and they represent the Academy well!! This is everyone's first year of showing and it brings me back to my first year of showing as a kid and I remember how meaningful those days were and still are to me. I teared up a couple of times watching our kids bond and form life long relationships and memories. Its such a special thing to be part of. There were a few kids who couldn't make it to this one and one who be able to join us again until next show season as she goes through cancer treatment. I cant wait to have our team whole again. I know she was on our minds the whole time wishing she was there. We love you Alexis Gierth!

Thank you to all of our parents and volunteers helping us keep this sport alive!

I'm so proud of our menagerie of academy horses.
We don't have a string of high caliper show horses to work with right now. We have the good old farts that have been there, done that. But not all have been in the show arena. So I thought it would be fun to tell you a little bit about these horses.
Just like with people, age is not everything. When old bodies have stayed active and well cared for they continue to thrive and stay strong. So we don't quit on them until they tell us they are ready for retirement because realistically when they stop exercising they go down hill quickly. There is a special time in their life when they say "retire me" and then we do.
Horses stories are attached as captions to each photo. Enjoy💚

Ps after posting this i was messaged by a few students saying you forgot about Banjo, you forgot about chocolate and Ginger and... and... and lol so more lesson horse stories to come!!

Sequim Riding Academy has a few openings for new students! Now that we have more daylight our schedule has opened up a little bit. Get started before our very busy summer starts!

That was a jam packed weekend of horsin around! I love these kids so much! Silly, inspiring and HARD WORKERS! I am so proud of every one of them. This weekend we worked on banding, braiding and prepping for a show. They also had a chore day and put in a full day of hard farm work. I think my favorite moment though was Molly Beeman teaching the kids how to line dance🤠

SRA had our first level up day and Awards Ceremony! Here's our first group of kids who graduated Rainbow level Horsemanship. Congratulations to all of you!!
