As you may have heard, Community First takes Halloween seriously! We had some amazing costumes for our contest this year, with our Garberville branch winning for their circus theme!

Boo! With Halloween just around the corner, we wanted to take some time to educate our members and community about the dangers of spoofing scam calls. Spoofing scams are when fraudsters change their caller ID to anything they want. Calls from them can look like they are from friends, family, emergency services, even your bank! Scary stuff.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Today, CFCU'ers joined together to wear pink in support of fighters, survivors, and families of those affected by breast cancer.

Community First was a proud sponsor of this year's Healdsburg Crush to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin. This event celebrates the best of w**e country, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the impactful programs the Boys and Girls Club provides to over 11000 youth in our community. These programs uplift and empower kids through academic support, mental health resources, summer camps, and healthy meals.

Community First was able to attend and present awards at the Sonoma County Office of Education's recognition ceremony for the 2026 Teacher of the Year finalists!

We are proud to continue our tradition of sponsoring this award to help recognize educators who exemplify incredible leadership, innovation, and communication in their teaching methods.

School is back in session! This year, Community First distributed our Educators' Calendars across 185 schools in our 7-county footprint. We're proud to carry on this annual tradition to show our support for local teachers.
