Jon and Craig are two longtime friends and avid homebrewers, with a great passion for everything craft beer. Their fascination with beer has lead them on a journey to learn as much as they can about the beer industry, as they aspire to one day start a brewery of their own. Currently, they are working on refining recipes and techniques, as well as growing their own hops. HopLabs is not afraid to experiment with off the wall beer flavors, unique ingredients, and over the top hoppiness. When not brewing their own beer, they spend countless hours at craft beer events and breweries, sampling and talking with other brewers and beer fanatics about experiences, ingredients, and tastes. The opinions and feedback of others in the craft beer community have been invaluable and instrumental in their continued growth as brewers. They have done well in several homebrew competitions and look forward to competing in more. Sharing their brews with other beer lovers is what drives and motivates them. With the help of the super supportive beer community and their beer loving wives, they will continue to homebrew their way to the dream of making HopLabs a reality and being a permanent fixture in the amazing local beer community.

Took me 3 days to find Double Vision Brewing , but I persevered. Found it in Paihia at a place called BAD HABITS | PAIHIA . Looking forward to drinking them. Their can art is top notch and they, in my opinion have the best b**r in NZ. Note the T rex b**r...those of you that knows us know why I had to get that one. **r

This hard Root B**r is probably the best I've ever had. From Its not sickly sweet like other hard sodas. Legit tastes like a really good root b**r. 5% alcohol, so you dont taste it. If youre a root b**r fan, check it out. Picked up this beauty from . **r

On our annual guys trip to Sardine Lake we stopped by this gem of a brewery. is a great spot with awesome staff and b**r! Took home some stickers to Nevada and got to meet this sweet brewery security dog EmmyLou. We will be back. **r

Got to meet Stone Cold Steve Austin at Minden Meat and Deli today. He was genuine, kind, funny and engaging considering we interrupted his b**r. We appreciated him being so kind to talk with us and sign a couple cans. Interesting factoid, he actually participated in tasting and developing the b**rs, not just slapping his name on 'em. **r
