Just Beaded Things

Reflecting upon last weekend and feeling very grateful to have been included in such a rad exhibition opening event 🫶🏼🌱🌧️✨🐛 It’s always a good time to visit family & homelands, and being able to share my work with community made this past visit even more amazing 🌈💫🌸🍁🦌 Special thanks to my bestie since birth Matilda Sprain & her sweetheart TreVonna for helping me with my display / table set up and to Kendra Greendeer for creating a space for indigenous voices to be amplified & celebrated 🤎🌻🦋🪶 My gratitude also goes out to the artists whose work we gathered to admire, the musicians who performed, my fellow vendors who brought work to share, and all the friends / patrons who supported our beading whether through purchase, stories shared, or kind words 🙏🏼✨🌸

She’s kinda fierce 🤘🏼⛓️⚡️🔪 This pair of paaxge earrings was woven using size 11 cut beads, size 13 cut beads, size 15 seedbeads, & 2mm faceted blue tourmaline beads down the center 🩵✨🪩 Adorned with matte silver spikes to finish ⚔️

An oldie & a goodie 🤘🏼🩵🫐 Stacked blueberries that became a gift for a new friend’s mama, crafted with a mix of vintage & contemporary seedbeads, ranging from size 11 down to size 15, with some of my fave green charlotte cuts via SHEENBeads 🦋✨🌱 Made this pair last fall, but looking back is giving me inspo to keep creating more lil flatstitched earrings for a couple art markets we have coming up 🫐🍒🍓🌺🌷🌸
