We’re thrilled to share our knowledge and host incredible delegations from Philadelphia and New Zealand—including visiting judges and assessment center leaders—to explore our justice services care model and community-based support systems. 🤝
Shoutout to the National Assessment Center Association and Zellerbach Family Foundation for making this work possible and increasing our impact.

Centering wellbeing in every setting is part of our restorative justice framework.
“Mindful Practices with Aromatherapy During Times of Counsel for Youth” with Phanie of Apothecary For The People taught us about the positive impacts aromatherapy has on the energy of a space, on mental health, and on creating a sense of safety for youth.
The workshop successfully promoted holistic well-being in three key ways:
- Team Cohesion: Enabled staff to learn together and support one another through shared wellness practices.
- Team Member Uplifting: Encouraged individual staff well-being through aromatherapy.
- Youth Well-Being: Shared aromatherapy practices to enhance mental health and foster a sense of safety for youth.
This week, the Huckleberry Young Professionals Board welcomed seven new and fabulous members (not all pictured)! With these new members, the group remains committed to Huckleberry's mission, connecting through their desire to build community with other values-aligned professionals.
As they explore ways to expand outreach and support for Huckleberry's youth services, we look forward to seeing their ideas come to life so that more young people have access to opportunities and resources to thrive. 💜

Shout-out to community partner Adyen for helping us glow up our Marin office and donating new supplies for our young people.
What makes Huckleberry so special is our ability to use our space as a one-stop shop for mental health, sexual health, academic support, and wraparound care.
In recent years, we've seen a rise in requests for basic needs. Having hygiene supplies, clothes, blankets, etc. in one convenient, accessible place for youth helps us further advance social justice and equity in our community.
THANK YOU!

A small donation can make a meaningful difference for a young person staying at Huckleberry House.
Our Wish List includes everyday essentials that help us meet the basic needs of youth and families, along with art supplies, sensory tools, games, and activities that help young people feel safe, decompress, and express themselves during times of crisis.
Each item helps us create a space where youth can feel cared for, supported, and still have moments to simply be a young person.
