Marrokal Design and Remodeling

In San Diego, outdoor space is living space. 🌴 Ready to take a dip?

A thoughtful remodel can turn the backyard into a place you use every day — for morning coffee, an afternoon swim, or dinner outside.

Outdoor living, designed around the way you want to live.

This rendering by Marrokal Director of Design Enrique Covarrubias shows how an outdoor remodel can truly extend the home—a place to gather, entertain, and enjoy San Diego living year-round. Ready for those cozy Fall nights.

What if the secret to a better kitchen isn't more space, but a smarter layout?

A beautiful kitchen is important, but how it functions can make all the difference in your daily routine.

The five-zone kitchen concept organizes your space around everyday activities, making it easier to prep meals, cook, clean up, and keep everything within reach.

Whether you're planning a kitchen remodel or simply looking for design inspiration, understanding these five zones can help you make better use of your space.

Read our latest blog to learn how a five-zone kitchen works and whether it's right for your home.

White kitchens aren't going anywhere. But they don't have to be all white.

Today's kitchens are bringing in more color, texture, and personality while keeping the bright, timeless appeal homeowners love. A blue island or backsplash can be just enough to give a classic white kitchen a fresh perspective. See more in our online gallery at Marrokal.com

Safe choices aren't the only choices.

A remodel is an opportunity to make your home more personal, more interesting, and more you.

Design Spotlight | Marrokal Design & Remodeling

From vision to virtual reality. These renderings offer an early look at a custom home taking shape in Rancho Santa Fe — more than 10,000 square feet designed with a Mediterranean influence and a contemporary edge.

Expansive open-volume ceilings, large-format doors, and inviting courtyards blur the line between indoors and out, creating a home designed for both everyday living and entertaining.
