As our birthday week draws to a close, we have some announcements for you. Firstly, get excited for a week full of community, learning, and deals because Creatives Week is back from Sunday, January 10th, to Saturday, January 16th. With free giveaways and plenty of art-making, Creatives Week is sure to be a whole lot of fun!

Also, Dark Brilliance is coming back in October 2027! Break out your neon and fluorescent art supplies for a show like no other. Dark Brilliance is a fan-favorite, and we love seeing our community use unique materials and media. We can't wait to see what you make!

More info to come on both of these events! Keep on creating!

Are you excited to get out now that the weather feels amazing??? We are too! That's why this week's featured product is Solarfast dye by !!! 🌤 🍂

The printing possibilities are endless because you can mix any of the 14 base colors of Solarfast to get unique results each time! Plus if you want to make some fun T-shirts, we sell the Solarfast Wash, meant to help your dyes last longer. Additionally, we carry the Solarfast Starter Kit, which comes with everything a beginner could want! If you run out of negatives, we sell the film as well.

Solarfast is a light-reactive dye with a process that works similarly to cyanotype or turmeric dyeing. Paint your surface with a layer of Solarfast dye. Then, using a film negative or other transparent/opaque objects like dried flowers, glass, or lace, you will expose the dye to the sun for 10-20 minutes (based on the UV levels that day). Then, wash off any excess dye, and you're left with a beautiful print!

Come grab yours today!
