On leafy 2-acre grounds along the Little Manatee River, this modest resort in a residential area is 2 miles from Highway 41 and 7 miles from the Tampa Bay coast. The down-to-earth bungalows provide Wi-Fi access, cable TV, kitchens and patios; some add living areas and/or river views. There's a heated outdoor pool, a terrace and a dock (surcharge). BBQ equipment is available. Canoe, kayak and fishing gear rentals are offered. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement for a fee.

It’s another beautiful weekend in Ruskin, Florida. You can’t beat the views on the east side of the bay, or the electricity in the air from the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers..

Enjoying the day and catching fish has no age limit… Pirates Pointe Resort had two couples here from ages 72 to 92. They had a blast with our Captain on the Bay.
