An evacuation order is in effect for the Hawk Fire in the Peavine Peak area of Washoe County, according to Incident Command.
Firefighters are responding to about a 30-to-40-acre vegetation fire.
Structures are immediately threatened.
Smoke is visible from the Hawk Fire.
The blaze began before noon.
