Witch better have our candy. π§ββοΈπ
Our Prairie City, IA branch stirred up a little Halloween magic as Whitney Leighton, Kesley Auer, and Chrissy Bedner arrived dressed as witches. Whether they were brewing potions or just tackling the day's to-do list, this trio proved that a pointy hat is always in style this time of year.
No black cats, flying monkeys, or mysterious spells were reported. Just a spell-binding costume theme that was wickedly good.

Some duos are simply iconic. π€ππ
Our Creston, IA branch chose a dynamic duo theme and delivered twice the costume awesomeness. Linda and Liz took us to Scranton as Dwight and Dave from The Office, while Katie and Maggie stepped into the boots of country music legends Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
Whether you're quoting office memos or country classics, this crew proved that great pairs stand the test of time. Two themes, four costumes, and a whole lot of character made this one a perfect match.

Who let the dogs out? Actually, we know exactly who. πΎπ
Our Fort Collins JFK Branch turned Halloween into a tail-wagging good time with a 101 Dalmatians theme. Brandy, Ellie, and Madi formed the dalmatian squad, while Gage stole the scene as the fabulously infamous Cruella de Vil.
Fortunately, Cruella's fashion ambitions stopped at costumes, and every puppy made it through the day unscathed. We'd call that a pawsitive outcome.
With a theme this spot-on, it's no wonder this crew turned heads.

"Pour yourself a cup of ambition..." βπ
Our Erie, CO branch clocked in as the unforgettable cast of 9 to 5, bringing a little workplace comedy and a lot of '80s nostalgia to Halloween. James Sites stepped into the role of Mr. Hart, while Emily Evans, Lana Hartman, and Maddie Silva channeled Violet Newstead, Judy Bernly, and Doralee Rhodes.
Fortunately, this crew kept the mischief to costumes only. Nobody was kidnapped, no coffee was tampered with, and all office supplies remained under proper supervision.
As Dolly Parton famously sang, it's all "workin' 9 to 5," but for one day, Halloween got top billing.

There's a snake in my boot... and a spork in the branch. π€ π₯π΄π
Our Boulder, CO team took Halloween to infinity and beyond with a Toy Story theme featuring Woody, Mr. Potato Head, and everyone's favorite accidental toy, Forky.
Some costume ideas are born from years of planning. Others are thrown together with popsicle sticks and optimism. Either way, this crew proved you've got a friend in them.

Ready, set, costume. ππ
Our Hartford, SD branch cruised into Halloween as the Mario Kart gang, proving that some races are about more than crossing the finish line. Whether they came for the bragging rights or the candy, this crew looked ready to leave the competition in their dust.
Fortunately, there were no banana peels in the lobby and no one got hit with a last-minute blue shell on the way to the break room.

Waka waka waka. π»π
Our Buffalo, WY branch powered up for Halloween with a classic arcade favorite. Josh took on the role of Pac-Man, while Emmie, Keva, Hallie, Lynne, Sam, and Kaitlynn made up the Ghost Gang.
We're all out of Power Pellets, but we've got plenty of candy. Thankfully, this crew spent more time posing for photos than chasing Pac-Man through the branch hallways.
Game over? Not yet. We'd give this theme a high score.

Turns out emotions make a pretty great costume theme. ππ’π¨π
Our Laurel, MT branch stepped into the world of Inside Out, with Emily as Fear, Ryleigh as Riley, Dawn as Joy, and Hannah as Sadness.
From joy to sadness and everything in between, this crew was feeling all the feels. Fortunately, Disgust and Anger must have taken the day off, leaving plenty of room for smiles, laughter, and a little Pixar-inspired nostalgia.
We'd say this theme hit us right in the core memories.

Neon dolphins, rainbow leopards, and enough bright colors to make a highlighter jealous. π¬ππ
Our Lakeside, MT branch took a trip back to the glorious world of Lisa Frank, where every folder was a masterpiece, every sticker was treasure, and subtlety was never part of the plan.
This crew understood the assignment: more color, more sparkle, more everything. The result? A Halloween theme that's pure nostalgia for anyone who ever decorated a Trapper Keeper, collected gel pens, or insisted their school supplies reflected their personality.
Let's just say this branch didn't color inside the lines. They replaced the whole crayon box.

The costumes in Helena Capitol, MT were truly out of this world. π½ππ
This crew launched Halloween into another galaxy with a space-themed lineup of aliens, astronauts, and celestial characters. Whether they arrived from a distant planet or mission control, they brought enough cosmic energy to put Halloween into orbit.
No telescope required. These costumes were easy to spot from light-years away, and we're pretty sure a few extraterrestrials have already filed applications for branch positions.

To our Idaho clients β thank you. π§‘
First Interstate was named to Forbes' 2026 list of America's Best-In-State Banks, ranking No. 3 in Idaho. The ranking, produced in partnership with Statista, reflects survey responses from 26,000 U.S. residents who shared what they value most in a bank: trust, customer service, digital tools, financial guidance, and transparent fees.
A recognition like this isn't about us β it's about the people who choose to bank with us and the team members who show up for them every day.
We're grateful to be part of the Idaho community.

The numbers are alarming: Children born into rural communities are five times as likely to be killed in a car crash, more than six times as likely to be using incorrect child restraints (or no child restraints at all), and child passenger safety misuse rates in rural communities are as high as 91%. The good folks at Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance (NISSA) said that needs to change.
in Coeur d'Alene recently presented a $3,000 donation to NISSA to support its Rural Education Outreach (REO) Program. Serving communities throughout Idaho, REO travels to rural communities with its Buckle Up for Life Mobile Safety Lab and a slate of child passenger and infant sleep safety prevention education classes. means helping our communities develop and share resources that keep families safe, and First Interstate is proud to lend our strength.
