Guys, come hang out and enjoy a fun morning at the driving range! Whether you’re an experienced golfer or have never picked up a club, everyone is welcome!

No clubs? No problem! Clubs will be provided, but if you have your own you’d like to use, feel free to bring them!

Come hit some golf balls, enjoy some good company, and spend time together. We hope to see you there! ⛳

✨ This Week in Kids Church: Identity! ✨

This week in our Pr***en class, we wrapped up our four-week series on Identity: Who God Says I Am! ❤️

Over the past four weeks, we’ve been learning about who we are in God’s eyes and finding our identity in Him rather than in what the world or others might say about us.

Here’s what we’ve learned:

💛 Week 1: I am CHOSEN because God chose me!
Ephesians 1:4 — “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.”

💛 Week 2: I am WELL KNOWN because God knows me well!
Jeremiah 1:5 — “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart.”

💛 Week 3: I am LOVED because God loves me!
Romans 5:8 — “But here is how God has shown his love for us: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

💛 Week 4: I am GOD’S MASTERPIECE!
Ephesians 2:10 — “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

This week, we played a fun game to help the kids recognize the difference between what God says about us and the lies we sometimes believe about ourselves.

As different labels were called out, the kids had to decide if they were true or false. If it was a Godly label, they slapped the label and shouted “THAT’S ME!” 🙌 If it was a false label, they crossed their arms in an X and said “NOPE!” 🙅‍♀️

Some of those true labels were:
❤️ Loved, chosen, accepted, valuable, brave, forgiven, wonderfully made, full of purpose, and God’s masterpiece!

But then there were labels like:
❌ Worthless, dumb, rejected, ugly, weak, loser, fearful, boring, and meaningless.

These are words that kids (and adults!) might hear from others or even tell themselves. Sometimes we believe those words so much that we start to let them define who we are.

But those labels are NOT who God says we are!

God created each of us intentionally and with purpose. He knows us, He chose us, He loves us, and He calls us His masterpiece. We don’t have to earn that identity by being the smartest, strongest, most popular, or best at everything.

My hope is that these lessons stick with our kids. That when they face moments of self-doubt, comparison, rejection, or insecurity, they’ll remember what God says about them instead of believing the lies.

And maybe that’s a reminder we adults need, too. ❤️

You are chosen. You are known. You are loved. You are God’s masterpiece. ✨
