πŸ“šπŸ’š Bringing Stories to Life Through Play! πŸ’šπŸ“š

Our Early Intervention team recently hosted a parent meeting highlighting β€œMy Buddy’s Books,” a wonderful literacy resource donated to Friends of TN Babies with Special Needs!

These themed literacy bags are designed to make reading an interactive and engaging experience for children and families. Each bag includes a book, along with toys, sensory items, and fun activities that bring the story to life. πŸ“–βœ¨

During the meeting, our team demonstrated how parents can use these bags to encourage early literacy, sensory exploration, and meaningful connections with their little ones through reading and play.

Each book also features a QR code that provides access to an audio version of the story, complete with music! 🎢

πŸ’š Did you know? Parents can request a literacy bag of their choice, and Friends of TN Babies with Special Needs will mail it directly to their home!

It was a wonderful time of learning, connection, and sharing ideas to help families make reading fun and engaging for their children. Because some of the best learning happens through PLAY! πŸ’š
