Progressive Martial Arts Academy - Oak Ridge

Happy Halloween! Here’s some of the fun from Day 2 of our party!

Halloween Party Day 1!

Yesterday was two thumbs up baby! Day 2 of our Halloween Party starts now. All classes are in costume (yes, adults too!), but be prepared to still train in them!

More pictures coming of all the kids yesterday. We had some EXCELLENT costumes and so much fun! Amaze amaze amaze!

PMA brought home 2nd place in the overall academy standings at The Fall Classic today out of 58 teams! 👊

🥇 14 gold
🥈 18 silver
🥉 8 bronze
🔥 48 match wins

We are so proud of all of our students for stepping up and testing themselves today. There were too many great performances to call out individuals. 😊

Thank you to our coaches, families, and teammates for making this day possible and supporting our competitors through the wins and the tough moments.

Back to the academy on Monday to learn from this weekend and keep growing! 💛🖤

Welcome back from Fall Break! PMA is open and back to normal schedule today. This morning we had Lilah Niad here testing for her Junior Black Belt! This is a big accomplishment and we are so proud of Lilah and the progress she’s made on the mats. Congrats Lilah, and see everyone soon!

🕷️ Starts TOMORROW! Still need a fall break adventure?

There’s still time to join PMA Spider Kids Jiu Jitsu Camp! David Corrigan is leading five mornings of Jiu Jitsu, action-packed drills, games, and Spider-Man stories.

We’ll turn gi grips into our “webs” and learn how technique and smart thinking help us control a stronger opponent. 💙💛

Just in time for these cooler temperatures, right? 😉

Great time training and hanging out with our crew today. Filipino Martial Arts, picnic, and the annual PMA Kickball Tournament!

Such a fun way to wrap up a great summer of training. See you all back on the mat next week for one more week of No Gi Summer!

🥊What can we say about the Kickboxing event yesterday - that was a blast! There were some incredible battles in the ring and we are so proud of the toughness and kindness that everyone displayed. Congratulations to all of our competitors!
