👩‍🔬👻🧪 We had a packed house for yesterday's Spooktacular Halloween Science demonstration!

Mad Science brought science to life with a whole lineup of spooky demonstrations featuring dry ice, foam, “frog eyeballs,” and more. Our young scientists got right into the action, getting hands-on with the experiments and discovering what happens when you mix a little curiosity with some seriously cool science. Thanks to everyone who came out!

📚👏 A big congratulations to five of our youngest readers!

Last night, these youngsters were celebrated by The City of New Port Richey, FL - City Hall for completing our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten and 500 Books Before Middle School reading challenges. Along their reading journey, they earned fun prizes, with the final reward being a book of their choosing — one they don’t have to return to the library. Enjoy, and remember to keep turning those pages!

To participate in our reading challenges, download the Beanstack app or visit nprlibrary.beanstack.org.
