Answered prayers can quietly become the thing that crowds out the One who answered them. The comfort, the success, the blessing and none of it is wrong, but all of it can shift the focus if the heart isn't anchored in the right place.
What we want from God matters far less than wanting God Himself.

Join us tomorrow evening at 6 PM for our First Wednesday Prayer Service! We are excited to be joined by our missionaries, Betsy Baker and Kayla Gulley, for this special time.
Come early for the dinner and fellowship starting at 5:15 PM!
It's easy to thank God for the blessings and never really stop to thank Him for Himself. That's worth sitting with: we can drift into treating God like the source of good things rather than the Good Thing Himself. Don't make the blessings bigger than the Blesser.
Watch the full message at coastalchurchsc.com or join us Sunday at 8:30, 9:45, or 11:15am.

If anxiety has a grip on you, Sunday's message is for you. We're exploring what happens when we place our security in Jesus instead of the things of this world. You won't want to miss this one.

You're standing in front of something that feels impossible. And your first move is to do the math.
Not enough money. Not enough time. Not enough of whatever it is you think you need.
But what if the real problem isn't what you don't have? What if it's where you're placing your security? When you're looking for comfort in the things of this world, anxiety becomes your constant companion. The test isn't about your resources. It's about whether you'll trust the one who already knows how this ends.
If anxiety is your constant companion, it might be time to check where you're really placing your security. The things of this world will never be enough. But what happens when you place everything into the hands of Jesus? That's where peace actually lives.
Join us on Sundays at 8:30, 9:45, or 11:15.

White-knuckling something this week? That grip might be the very thing keeping you from the peace Philippians 4:6 describes. The invitation isn't to stop caring. It's to stop carrying it alone.
What's one thing you're ready to put in His hands?
