We celebrated spooky season at the SLC office with a Halloween lunch, some seriously creative costumes, and a craft session to get everyone in the spirit. We also welcomed our team’s kids to trick-or-treat around the desks - and everyone was ready with candy!

Happy Halloween from the Groove team! 🎃

Lunch at the SLC office was extra delicious this week! Groove hosted our annual Griller’s and Smoker’s Showcase, where five of our talented team members fired up their grills and smokers to serve up some of the best BBQ around, complete with all the fixings.

Thank you to our chefs for feeding us so well. We’re still (happily) recovering!

Last week, it was our Raleigh office's turn to come together for our annual summer party! It was great to see everyone and their families outside of the office and to celebrate the end of summer.

Speaking of which, who's ready for some fall weather? 🙋‍♀️🍂

Should facial recognition unlock your doors? Groove's security experts weigh in on that and more in our latest blog: "How AI is Changing Video Surveillance for Properties". Read it here: https://www.getgrooven.com/how-ai-is-changing-video-surveillance-for-properties/

How AI Is Changing Video Surveillance for Properties Modern AI video surveillance systems now search footage, flag activity, and connect directly with a property's broader security ecosystem.

Food trucks, bounce houses, a DJ, animals - our annual SLC summer party did not disappoint! We had such a great time hanging out with our team and their families. What a great way to connect and celebrate summer and all the hard work that we've done this year so far!

Thank you to the incredible team who put this all together, you outdid yourselves once again 👏

Research shows apartment renters say their tech amenity fee is worth it, and residents with smart home features report higher satisfaction with their community overall. Interest looks different by generation too. Gen Z loves the app-based control, while senior residents lean toward the security and peace-of-mind side of things.

Last week our SLC team learned Hands Only CPR, a simple skill that can save a life in an emergency.

And that's just the start! We're walking in this year's Heart and Stroke Walk with the American Heart Association to help fund heart and brain research, health education, and better patient care nationwide. ❤️
