is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing foster care and adoption services. Our mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable children and allow them to thrive by providing a loving, nurturing and stable home environment. Silks in the Bluegrass was first established in 2009.

Operation Open Arms has many helpful resources when it comes to helping mothers choose a place for their children in private homes with support provided by master-level case managers. Then, it helps with our kids' clothing closet, providing children with beds, luggage, and more, with over 20 years of experience.
