Each croissant is handmade in house and is paired with either house bacon or sausage, farm fresh local eggs, cheese, and mayo. While you are in grab a cup of free cup of West Lou coffee. Every year around our birthday we donate to an organization in our community. This year for our ten year anniversary we decided to donate to three! The third organization we decided to donate to is Louisville Public Media. Our owner, Kit Garrett has been a long time supporter of LPM! She says in today’s climate it’s important to have a non-biased news source. They also do an excellent job of providing a platform for local businesses to share their messages.
Louisville Public Media (LPM) is an independent, community-supported nonprofit serving Louisville through radio, podcasts, digital news and community events. LPM is home to three local stations: WFPL, Louisville’s NPR affiliate delivering fact-based news free from political and corporate influence; WFPK, the region’s award-winning home for independent and adult alternative music and Louisville’s music scene; and WUOL, offering 24/7 classical music and coverage of the area’s arts community. 🥓 Bacony Grilled Cheese 🥓
New to the lunch menu is our bacony grilled cheese! This one is created by chef Fana and is served on Blue Dog Fred bread with our bacon, caramelized onions, sun-dried tomatoes, chipotle mayo, and mixed greens. Lunch is served Tuesday through Saturday from 11am until 3pm!

The next we wanted to tell you about is Feed Louisville. What’s our link to Feed Louisville? One of our chefs, Ray, has been volunteering when he can on Mondays for over a year and a half and loves the work that the organization does for the community and the people who are behind it.

Feed Louisville is a commissary kitchen run by a team of former restaurant chefs who cook hundreds of hot, nutrient dense, culturally accessible meals daily for the local unhoused and food-insecure community. They also rescue thousands of pounds of still-viable surplus food daily that their team uses to make these meals or redistribute in the form of snacks and pantry staples through their network of front-line feeding agencies. Launched six years ago in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Feed Louisville’s culinary team is led by professional chefs who have worked in some of Louisville’s finest restaurants and understand what it takes to succeed in a professional kitchen from the very first day.
