DJ Mario Luna

No Mic. No Plan.

I was mixing Low into Whitney Houston - I Wanna Dance With Somebody (remix)...

And right on the drop — “Clock strikes upon the hour and the sun begins to fade...”

One gentleman in the crowd is singing SO LOUD you hear him over the speakers, over the whole packed floor.

He wasn’t on a mic. He was just FEELING it. And the whole floor sang with him.

This is the moment you can’t DJ for. This just HAPPENS when the energy is right.

You can see me in the booth trying to hold the mix together while smiling 😂

Sound ON. You can hear him.

Clinton Library. Packed floor. Cher - Believe. 10:15 PM.

Filmed from behind me so you can see what I see every weekend.

100 people, arms in the air, singing every word. And yes — that’s me dancing a little. I can’t help it.

This is what a BIG PARTY looks like from the DJ booth.

If your DJ isn’t dancing, is he even having fun?

Clinton Presidential Library - thank you for having me.

Who wants this energy at their wedding? 👇

Comment “BELIEVE” and I’ll send you my October calendar.

5:30pm to 9:30pm.

Dancing started at 7:20pm.

They couldn’t stop.

So they extended me another hour until 10:30pm.

That’s what happened last night with Mackenzie & Logan Kilby. Thank you for trusting me with your BIG PARTY — and for letting me keep the party going.

Empty floor to Extended Hour. That’s the goal every time.

Tuesdays with Rosie. 😂

She doesn’t walk. She makes an entrance.

Her demands:
Lowrider on arrival
Treats after soundcheck
All dance floors must be packed

I don’t argue with management.

Sound on for full attitude. 🔊

What song does YOUR dog walk to? 👇

700 - 1,000 people.

One chant. 🔊

“THIS AIN’T WHAT YOU WANT”

Not what you would expect at 9:47pm for a Big Party?!

No one left. No one sitting. Just THIS.

This is BIG ENERGY. Not background music.

Want your next Big Party to sound like this?

From Washington Heights straight to the floor. 💃🏼🔥🎭🎶🕺🏽

Closing night energy hit different. Huge shoutout to the cast of “In The Heights” for turning the dance floor into a whole different production when this Flo Rida remix dropped!

While we were sitting together between takes, he told me he doesn’t overwhelm himself with the whole script at once. His secret? He takes it strictly scene by scene. Focus 100% on the moment you are in, master it, and only then do you move to the next. The cameras weren’t rolling, but the masterclass was definitely in session. 🎬
