As part of the Staff UW KC Impact 100 we had a chance to do a coffee cart for JE Dunn Construction and you know we couldn’t just do basic coffee!

🥐 Brisket & pimento cheese croup

The last good watermelon of the year came through our kitchen this week, and we did not waste a bite of it.
1 watermelon, two dishes, nothing thrown away. The flesh becomes the salad. The rind becomes the pickle. That is reclaim, repurpose.

The Kansas City G.I.F.T. Gala was a night to remember!
We were thrilled to be asked to cater the gala as well as being the recipient of an award {more to come about that GIFT and how it will be used}. 💜

Yesterday, Kansas City swung against hunger. More than 80 players showed up for our neighbors and every swing taken goes toward keeping hot, made from scratch meals on the table NourishKC community kitchen and a career pathway open.
Thank you to everyone who played, sponsored, and showed up. We are grateful that you keep us cooking!
2nd annual Pars for Purpose is underway! Thank you to all the teams who came to play and help us raise money for our food recovery and distribution NourishKC
