Today, we celebrate the life of Dolly Parton, a woman whose warmth, wit, and generosity reached far beyond the stage.

Through her Imagination Library, she put books into the hands of children around the world and helped countless young readers fall in love with stories.

Her dedication has been an inspiration to us all at ICL and we hope to continue her legacy of spreading a love of literature.

Thank you, Dolly 🩷

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a surprise read! Stop by and pick up a Blind Date with a Book featuring true stories from American history. No peeking, just unwrap and learn something new!

Remy the Radish was extra sneaky today! She picked such a good hiding spot that she wasn’t found until the afternoon.

Kids can stop by every day during Summer Reading to search for Remy and see where she’s hiding next. Find her, get a prize, and keep an eye out for her next clever hiding spot!

Due to the intense weather (and several tornadoes) last week, our program was cut short. A Zoom link will be emailed after registration. This meeting will not be recorded.

Check out our new staff review of Mall Goth by Kate Leth!
⭐⭐⭐/5

Emily B. says:
A goth teen in the early 2000's navigates a new school, complicated relationships and DDR. This was such a delightful nostalgia trip for those of us who lived through this era! I loved Leth's subtle details - Emily the Strange, Tim Burton's Vincent, and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac all make an appearance. However, the story feels rushed. We follow a storyline which includes predatory grooming and divorce, two heavy topics that perhaps would have made a better impact as their own stories without sharing the space with teen romance.
