Attention Hugo Students and Parents!!

❗️HUGO ATHLETICS – RANK ONE ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION ❗️

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, the OSSAA is requiring all student-athletes in grades 7-12 to complete athletic eligibility forms through the Rank One platform.

The attached guide will walk parents and guardians through the entire process of creating an account, adding their student-athlete, and completing all required forms.

Parents/guardians or students who are 18 years old will need to create an account and add their student before completing the eligibility forms.

To add a student, you will need your student’s last name and school ID number. If your student does not know their ID number, please contact Coach Trent at [email protected].

⚠️ Important Information:

• All student-athletes in grades 7-12 must complete both OSSAA eligibility forms before participating in athletics.

• Eligibility Form 1 should show Complete.

• Eligibility Form 2 should show Pending Approval or Approved after submission.

• A current physical must be on file each school year. You can print the physical form from Rank One to take to the doctor, and then the completed physical must be turned in to Coach Trent.

• Additional athletic forms will be required and should be completed through Rank One.

📅 We encourage families to complete these forms as soon as possible to avoid delays when practices and activities begin.

The High School Office will be opened on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00-1:00 throughout the summer.

Hugo High School students were treated to Casey’s pizza today! Thank you for supporting our school and our community.

Thank you to First Bank for purchasing a free coffee from Mug Life for the Hugo High School Staff in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week. And also, thank you Coach Schier for providing doughnuts this morning. It is truly a GREAT day to be a Buffalo!💛🖤

Mr. Drinkard provided a fish fry for the Hugo High School staff and an anonymous community member bought drinks from Fizzy Oka Sip Happy for the staff, as well! What a great start to National Teacher Appreciation Week!

Thank you to the Hugo PTO for providing lunch to our Hugo High School staff in recognition of National Teacher Appreciation Week! We truly appreciate it!

ESCAPED!! HHS Gifted and Talented students visited Hochatown Escape Games, with two groups successfully solving the puzzles to escape before their time elapsed. One group even set a new escape time record! Students enjoyed some outdoor laser tag, burgers from Lake Bums Grill, and Grateful Head Pizza! It was a fun day to be a Buffalo!

The faculty and staff at Hugo High School enjoyed their free drink from Mug Life Coffee today. Thank you to the anonymous donor. ☕️☕️☕️
