On September 22, Unity National Bank of Houston joined the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Fort Bend Regional Partnership for ""Smart Capital with the SBA: Unlocking Funding Opportunities,"" a lender panel for local business owners.

The session gave entrepreneurs a direct look at funding options and what lenders look for when a business is ready to grow. Unity National Bank of Houston was represented at the panel by Francisco Gonzalez, Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer.

Unity National Bank of Houston was represented in Washington, D.C. at the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Foundation Luncheon, held during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's annual events.

Dr. Kase L. Lawal, Chairman, and Harry E. Johnson, Sr., Board Director, joined leaders from across the country, alongside Dr. Tomikia P. LeGrande, President of Prairie View A&M University.

Unity National Bank of Houston took part in an SBA 504 Workshop hosted by Lone Star State Capital Corp and Houston Business Development, Inc. (HBDi) on September 22nd.

The workshop helped business owners understand how the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loan program can support major investments like commercial real estate and equipment. Marco Ruiz, Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, represented Unity National Bank of Houston at the workshop.

This National Hispanic Heritage Month, Unity National Bank of Houston is proud to spotlight GB3 Houston LLC and owner Jose Garza.

GB3 Houston manages furniture delivery and installation projects for schools, colleges and businesses across Houston and the surrounding areas. The company coordinates schedules, crews, transportation and on-site installation so that clients can get their spaces ready for use.
