Say hello to Itzy, our newest intern from the ttuhscsop! Itzy is a fourth-year pharmacy student, set to graduate in May, and we’re lucky enough to have her spending six weeks with us for her rural pharmacy rotation!

She’s already in week FOUR (where has the time gone?!), and we have absolutely loved having her here! She’s fit right in with our crew and has even earned herself a spot on our Shot Squad! 💉😎 Word on the street is she gives a pretty good shot, too!

One of our favorite things about being an independent community pharmacy is getting to introduce future pharmacists to the special relationships that come with serving a small-town community. And we think Itzy is going to make a GREAT pharmacist!

If you see her around the store or at one of our flu shot clinics over the next couple of weeks, be sure to say hello and give her a warm Haskell welcome! We’re so glad she’s spending part of her pharmacy journey with us! 💙

It’s Pharmacy Week and today is Pharmacy Technicians Day, and we couldn’t let the day go by without giving some love to this incredible technician team who helps keep The Drug Store running!

Our pharmacy technicians do SO much behind the scenes to make sure our patients are taken care of. From filling prescriptions and dealing with insurance companies to answering phones and juggling a million things at once, these ladies keep things moving every single day! They truly are the backbone of this place.
