Pelican Parts was started in 1997 by veteran Porsche owners Wayne Dempsey and Tom Gould. How do we know our customers?
With over 2 million Genuine, OEM and Aftermarket parts, 4,500+ DIY 'How To' Tech Articles and a dedicated Forums community, we are honored to provide everything you need to support your passion for Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, MINI, VW and other European cars. Our goal is to provide affordable German parts and accessories to enthusiasts worldwide and provide free information so fellow enthusiasts can work on their own cars. Our focus is on the weekend mechanic - the fellow who loves to tinker and restore his or her German car on a Saturday afternoon. We are the weekend warriors who love to work on and maintain our German vehicles that are our daily drivers and garage queens. We love taking our cars to the track, working on them any chance we can to keep them in pristine condition and of course a little added horsepower here and there is always a nice touch. The memories we create using these cars and sharing them with our friends and family are priceless. In our employee parking lot and company warehouse you will find BMW's, Porsche's, Mini Coopers, Mercedes Benz and a few other awesome German vehicles, we live and breathe these cars and it's our privilege to serve our fellow enthusiasts.

Swapping K20’s and K24’s into a 911 are all the rage, but it might be fun to swap in an 07K (the fantastic VW 2.5L inline 5 cylinder engine) in instead.
Rasant Products has a customer who asked that they explore this conversion since they already swap the 07K in the 924 / 944 / 968 chassis.
Besides converting the 911 into a mid-engine car with the motor transverse in the “back seat” area and some sort of VAG 6-speed gearbox under and behind that for the axles to line up, the only other way is still rear-engine with a 6-speed 996 Getrag ahead of it.
